1. Scope and roles

This policy applies to visitors to the Revsnap website, prospective customers, and authorized users of the Revsnap SaaS application.

For business contact data, website interactions, and account administration information, Revsnap generally acts as the controller. For customer data processed inside the service at a customer's direction, Revsnap generally acts as a processor under the applicable customer agreement.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and profile information such as name, work email address, and authentication details.
  • Workspace, billing, and access-control context needed to provision and operate the service.
  • Technical, operational, and security metadata used to secure the service and investigate incidents.
  • Salesforce connection metadata and OAuth artifacts required to run authorized snapshot and regression workflows.
  • Customer content and test artifacts that customers ask Revsnap to process inside the service.

We do not intentionally collect special-category personal data unless explicitly agreed in writing as part of a customer engagement.

3. Cookies, analytics, and telemetry

Revsnap uses necessary technical mechanisms to operate the site and service. Optional analytics are handled in a consent-aware manner where required by applicable law.

For public website visitors, analytics collection is intended to remain privacy-conscious and subject to user choice where applicable. Within the authenticated application, operational telemetry may be collected to secure the service, diagnose issues, and improve product reliability.

Cookie preferences

Open the privacy preference center to allow or withdraw optional product analytics cookies.

4. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the service.
  • Authenticate users, manage workspace access, and support SSO where enabled.
  • Run snapshot capture, regression testing, scheduling, and reporting workflows.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and improve the product.
  • Communicate service, policy, support, billing, and security information.
  • Comply with law and enforce contract terms.

5. Legal bases

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, Revsnap relies on appropriate legal bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and legal obligation.

For enterprise customers, additional privacy and processing terms may be set out in order forms, DPAs, or other contract documents.

6. Sharing and subprocessors

Revsnap uses third-party service providers to host and operate the service, including infrastructure, authentication, billing, messaging, and analytics providers.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Customer data is shared only as needed to operate the service, support the customer relationship, comply with law, or perform authorized integrations such as connected Salesforce workflows.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, support the customer relationship, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Revsnap uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including transport encryption, access controls, auditability for key workflows, and managed protection of sensitive service credentials.

8. International transfers

Personal data may be processed in jurisdictions where Revsnap or its service providers operate. Where required, Revsnap uses appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Your rights and choices

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion, subject to legal and contractual exceptions.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
  • Receive portable copies of certain personal information where technically feasible.
  • Withdraw consent where a processing activity depends on consent.

To exercise privacy rights or ask questions about this policy, contact Revsnap through the support or contractual channels made available to you. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

10. Children and updates

The service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16.

Revsnap may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When a new published version is released, we may require in-app acknowledgment before continued use of certain authenticated features.
